## What this site is

A portfolio showcase at https://showcase.butterflyfx.us/ containing complete
single-page websites for invented businesses. The businesses are not real. The
markup, structured data, accessibility work and performance characteristics are
real and can be inspected.

## The demonstration sites

- /redrock-hvac/ — Redrock Comfort Co., an HVAC contractor in St. George, Utah.
  Shows local service SEO: service-area content, flat pricing stated as figures,
  HVACBusiness and FAQPage schema, a dispatch-style booking panel.
- /canyon-drift/ — Canyon Drift Balloon Co., a hot air balloon tour operator in
  Ivins, Utah. Shows tourism and booking SEO: TouristTrip and Offer schema,
  itinerary markup, weather and cancellation policy written as quotable answers.
- /cedar-mesa/ — Cedar Mesa Senior Center, a nonprofit in Washington, Utah.
  Shows accessibility-first design: 19px base type, a persistent text-size
  control, AA+ contrast, semantic schedule tables, plus NGO and Event schema.

## What each site demonstrates

- Semantic HTML with one h1, ordered headings and landmark regions
- JSON-LD structured data that agrees with the visible text
- Self-contained answer blocks that stay accurate when quoted out of context
- A per-site llms.txt brief for assistants
- Canonical URLs, Open Graph metadata, and an XML sitemap
- Designed dark mode, not an automatic inversion
- No images required for layout, no blocking scripts, no layout shift
- Visible focus states, 44px minimum targets, and keyboard operability
